Really bizarre background to this KOMO story about a border shootout in Vermont involving a Seattle woman

Did a little Googling after reading this strange story on KOMO.

This young Seattle woman recently graduated from UW and paired up with a successful, award-winning nerdy math phenom and instigated a shootout with Border Patrol in Vermont, killing an agent.

The FBI had been tipped off that the young adults had stockpiled ammunition and were walking around their hotel in black combat gear. She had been seen with a gun, and she had previously refused to pull her mask down in the lobby.

He was working at trading firm, probably on a path to millions.

No motive determined yet.
