PSA for anyone who has rented from a property using RealPage and there are a LOT in Seattle. One of the people named in this suit was actually a Seattle renter. They are accepting claims for the class action lawsuit from anyone who rented from a property who used Realpage from 2018-2025. For those who don’t know, RealPage helped competing landlords coordinate apartment rents instead of setting prices independently. A class action lawsuit was brought and they won. I have lived in a property owned by a company that has used RealPage to price-fix (CWS Apartment Homes) and I just uploaded the multiple years of leases and will receive a payout of at least a couple hundred.
