Referendum to make Americanos legally need to contain 2 shots?

We pride ourselves on being a coffee capital, but all along the Puget Sound I’ve been burnt by diabolical coffee shops and stands that know they’re committing a sin. Even if they have an 8 oz option, it still requires 2 shots of espresso to be anything other than coffee flavored hot water. Yes, I can ask and clarify, but the idea they will charge more to make the drink they should already be making is infuriating. This is a clear market failure. To anyone who is a casual or professional barista, you know what you’re doing is wrong when you hand someone a watery drink that is worse than hours-old drip coffee. Speak to your owners to correct this crime before the public steps in.
