Regarding bagels and pizza
Making this post because it’s exhausting constantly seeing people complain about pizza and bagels in Seattle. So many great spots have opened alongside tried and true it’s time to hang that argument up.
Yes some are too expensive, have odd hours, are too fancy etc. but that is the beauty of options.
In no particular order, all great eats:
Bagels: Mt. Bagel, Old Salt, Hey Bagel, Backyard Bagel, Oxbow, Rachel’s, Zylberschtein’s, Dingfelder’s, Loxsmith, Westman’s, Rubinstein’s
Pizza: Dantini, Stevie’s Famous, Lupo, Moto, My Friend Derek’s, Sunny Hill, Windy City, Bar Del Corso, Cornelly, Slice Box, Tivoli, Post Alley, Vera’s
Honorable mention Bloto, RIP
(Inb4 yes yes Pagliacci and Blazing Bagels we get it)
These are just the ones I’ve been too. There are more out there. Some are as close to NY style as it gets, some are their own thing altogether. If you’re still commenting in threads lamenting how bad Seattle’s pizza & bagel scene is you might just need to get out more.
