Normally in these scenarios I mind my own business, but my neighbors have started stealing electricity from our building and throwing trash into our backyard. I looked a bit closer and noticed they don’t have electricity, the house is partially boarded up, trashed, and tarped.
Google hasn’t helped determine who the rightful property owner is so I’m unsure if they own the land or are squatting for sure. But the house looked very different 2-3 years ago.
I’m also starting to believe they might be bike thieves, given they’re pretty often bringing in new, expensive looking bikes pretty much every day and replacing their parts at night until midnight. Again, just a hunch and I don’t know for sure.
Who do I report this to? Police non-emergency line? Find-It-Fix-It? Or how would I determine who the rightful owner is so I don’t waste their time?
