Robocall FU

Today I got a robocall pitching me the propaganda against council bill 121267, which prohibits algorithmic grocery pricing, telling me that Seattle is trying to make it illegal for grocery stores to give you great prices and how this is going to murder babies. I listened to the pitch, getting ready to give the person a piece of my mind, and they said, “do you mind if I transfer you to your councilmember’s direct line so you can tell them they should oppose this bill?” I said, “sure,” and when they transferred me, I told Dan Strauss that I got a robocall opposing the bill, but that I support the bill so he should definitely vote for it.

Felt pretty decent about that.
