SCAM

I am currently in Nevada. I received a call that made my heart jump out of my chest. My youngest son (25) called to tell me he was arrested. He rear ended a lady. He split his lip. He needed me to bail him out. The so called public defender insisted we deposit cash into a coin star account. My husband went to the jailhouse. He wasn’t there. The public defender said we couldn’t post bail until his arraignment next week. Blah blah blah. I finally got a hold of my son. He is fine. He is at work. Absolute scam. Since we didn’t actually give him any money. We can’t report it. We did call the non emergency number. Be aware.
