A close friend of mine crashed on a scooter near Eggslut on Melrose in Capital Hill. This happened Saturday the 13th of September between 1210pm and 1230pm (according to her Lime history.)
Myself and the family are trying to piece together what happened. I canvassed the street and the businesses to see if anyone saw her accident and wasn’t able to find much about the incident. Mainly due to the fact that there was similar scooter accident on Friday, Saturday and Sunday that resulted in an injury and transport. It made it difficult to gather specifics about my friend with similar cases occurring closely together.
Here’s what we know- she fell on Melrose between Pike and Pine; heading north. We know it happened between 1210 and 1240pm. We know she hit the front and back of her head, got sick and was transported by AMR with Medic One also responding. (All that the medics know is that she fell) We just want to know what happened. Was there something that caused this? If anyone saw or heard anything please share, It could be helpful to her care.
