ICE Raids in LA – SEIU Leader Assaulted and Detained. Rally in Seattle Monday 6/9 @ 11am This past Friday, heavily armed ICE agents carried out aggressive raids across Los Angeles. During the chaos, SEIU President David Huerta was assaulted, injured, and taken into custody while defending immigrant workers. Though he’s been released from the hospital, he remains detained.
