Seattle social workers – where are you working?

I’m a MSW and have been applying for jobs consistently since around August with no luck. My work experience is mostly in direct services in the homelessness/housing realm and a little bit of grants, I’ve been applying at the major local non profits and some admin type jobs with City/County, state, UW, etc.

I know the job market is insane here, but I’m wondering where some of you work and your experience securing a job in the city? Is it just super competitive all the time and you have to get lucky?

I’m also open to working in surrounding cities, and it’s worth noting I’m not eligible for licensure right now and would need a workplace to provide supervision if they wanted me to get it.
