It’s completely uninformed, claiming “potential” costs to the UI fund when the Ways & Means committee confirmed it does not, beacuse only the employer trying to starve-and-stall their striking workers has to pay to cover the UI. Am I surprised? No. Am I disappointed? Of course.
Please contact your state senator to encourage them to support SB5041, even if you aren’t in a union. Your local grocer, plumber, machinist, engineer, all will thank you when they don’t go homeless, since most don’t have any sort of strike fund.
