For those with excess income,

Whether your work in tech or a trade, now is the time to prepare to assist your community. With tariffs in place and the threat of illegally halted spending on various federal programs, a lot of poor and working class people in your communities are about to struggle to afford basic necessities more than they already are. In the coming days, weeks, and months many will lose their jobs, struggle to afford rising food prices, struggle to afford rent, struggle to afford medications, and will be begin to suffer from it.

I’m asking you, begging you to begin putting money aside to help some of us. Prepare to donate to food banks. Prepare to be build community with your neighbors to discover if they need help. Prepare to advocate for relief policies to your state legislators. Prepare to make sacrifices along with us so that we can all get through this intact. Prepare to sacrifice vacation or sick to time attend protests or rallies.

Your community needs you now more than ever. Please do not just stand by and do nothing. Now is the time to build community and help each other.
