Should I move to DT Bellevue?

Asked this question in AskSeattle but want both perspectives!

My husband and I are currently in Woodinville but want to move somewhere more city. We are both fully remote and major homebodies. No kids, no pets, no plans for either.

I’m wanting to find a space that is active in culture, art, parks, and cute little places to eat that I could walk/transit over to after work or on the weekends. Neither of up are into nightlife and would prefer to be as far away from the bars and noise as possible. I want to eventually find a condo but are just looking to rent, preferably between $2500-$3000 all in.

We are considering DT Bellevue or near the sound. I’ve been around DT Bellevue a bit for shopping and hanging out but I’ve only been in DT Seattle for work events and don’t know what its like to live there. I’m also physically disabled, so having things be nearby or easy to drive/transit to would be preferred.
