Met this woman outside QFC with 2 kids. She says she is going to be homeless when her rent increases. Let’s take her story at face value and not second guess if she is lying or on drugs or whatever.
By Seattle’s own Housing Authority literature, this is the real face of homelessness in Seattle. We have a budget of over $150M to help people like her. What are her immediate resources? Can she get rent assistance? Temporary housing? Job assistance?
I have her some money and got her number. She is looking for cleaning jobs. She said she has extensive experience cleaning. If anyone got any experience and can help let me know. I’ll post and replay what I find as I find them.
Anyone got any immediate cleaning jobs?
