After Zohran Mamdani’s victory, I have been seeing a lot of fantastic buzz about getting Harrell out of office in the upcoming election, and it seems people have come together behind Katie Wilson as the person that will do that. I don’t think she’s as strong as Mamdani, nor even as Gonzalez was last cycle, but I do think she would be waves upon waves better than Harrell, so I’m very much willing to help her campaign.
That said, Sarah Nelson’s seat is also up for grabs, and Nelson as the head of the City Council has been just as much of a thorn in progress’ side for this city as Harrell has. With Rinck currently occupying the other at-large seat, two progressive at-large council seats could be huge for this city.
So who are y’all supporting for district 9? What has you energized or excited about your district 9 candidate?
