Some of the weirdos from the latest Local Voter’s Pamphlet

Bill Hirt, the guy who thinks East Link needs to be stopped, made yet another appearance in this year’s pamphlet to further his gospel. Brian Travis (Northshore School District 417) is advocating for children to have “..the opportunity to even consider whether their own personal actions have temporal and eternal consequences”, while his competitor JoAnn Tolentino quietly snuck in some transphobic content under “(girls vs girls, boys vs boys)”. Lynda Schram is entirely running on the transphobia ticket for Northshore 417 Director District No. 5, a very bold move, we’ll see how that plays out. And, Ilya Kukhar, running for Lakehaven Water & Sewer Commissioner position #2, has a beautifully succinct blurb: “Vote for me or else you want dirty water”.
