Someone put cans under my wipers, why?

Not sure if this is weird neighbor behavior or just a one-off, but I could use some advice.

I usually have to park next to a ditch when I get home late since all the closer spots are taken. Today was the first time I came back to empty cans tucked under my windshield wipers.

That area does seem to collect cans pretty regularly, so I’m wondering if someone thought they were mine and put them on my car? Or if someone was trying to send a message about parking there.

Would you just ignore this unless it keeps happening, or take it as a sign to park somewhere else?
