Spring cleaning in our neighborhoods

On the heels of participating in the CID community cleanup last weekend, I was inspired to take a kitchen trash bag and a trash picker out on a walk with my dog. While covering only 1.75 miles in SoDo, I filled the bag with trash. I’m inventing the possibility of taking a bag and the picker out on each walk to help clean up our community.

Please help keep our neighborhoods clean either by not littering in the first place or joining in the effort around your home. While we may not be able to pick up every piece or prevent future littering, every little bit helps.
