Statement from Elliott Bay Brewing Company (that they are not MAGA)

Elliott Bay Brewing Company has posted the following statement on their website denying that they support MAGA, after appearing on several lists as supporting MAGA and ICE. Their statement is quoted below in full.

So — are they telling the truth? Or are they historically MAGA? Because I can’t find confirmation in any searches of anything they have said that puts them on that side, so I don’t want to malign them. BUT — if they’re just lying about themselves here, I’d like to know that too.

Here goes:

To our Elliott Bay Brewing Community,

Recently, our business was included in an online post that made a claim about our political affiliation, which is completely untrue. Elliott Bay Brewing does not identify with, endorse, or support any political movement or organization associated with MAGA.

For nearly 30 years, our focus has remained on serving our diverse community of guests and supporting our staff. Anyone who knows our business understands that our values are rooted in inclusivity, respect, and care for the people who walk through our doors.

It is deeply unfortunate that misinformation shared on social media can cause real harm to local businesses and their communities. We want to reassure our customers, employees, and neighbors that these claims do not reflect who we are or what we stand for.
