Is this the norm now? I have 8 interior doors which need to be replaced. The labor cost itself is $900 per door for painting, removing, installing, and finishing trims. We already have the doors or it would have been much more expensive. Honestly, I was expecting half of that. How do non-handy people afford to get any work done? I don’t know if we should just suck it up and do it. It doesn’t look like things are getting cheaper anyway. It just feels like a vicious cycle which we regular peasants get stuck in it.
