My step daughter is in drivers ed so we’ve been letting her practice driving our cars around the Bellevue area. She went through an intersection as the light changed and my wife just got the ticket for her running a red light. I’ve never been ticketed before so I don’t fully understand what the options are here. But is there anyway to contest this since my wife wasn’t driving, but without my step daughter getting the ticket? (which I believe pushes back the timeline for when she can get her license)
