Keep an eye out if you live near the Crossroads area. Last night around 2 AM, there were two guys walking the parking lots looking pretty suspicious. They looked Mexican, wearing dark hoodies, and they weren’t just passing through. They were going car to car, leaning in to check windows and seeing if any door handles were unlocked. It’s the usual Bellevue Eastside stuff where people think their cars are safe because the rent is high, but these guys are specifically looking for bags, electronics, or anything left on the seats. If you live in that complex or right by the park, make sure you don’t leave your garage clicker or any spare keys in the center console. If you see them lurking around the back of the buildings or hanging out by the carports this late, don’t try to confront them yourself. Just stay inside and call 911 right away. The Bellevue PD has been patrolling the area more because of the recent break-ins, so the sooner they get a call, the better chance they have of catching them before they move on to the next complex. Lock your doors and stay safe out there. submitted by /u/No-Habit-9730 |
