Hi there! I wanted to make a Reddit post about the current apartment complex I moved into about 7 months ago. When I first moved in everything seemed to be great and I actually enjoyed living here for about 2 months .
The management changed and everything went downhill. I am paying $1700 for a studio apartment and they are charging me $200 FOR UTILITIES???? I live by myself and work all day? Barely home and I have talked to a couple people and they are getting charged even $300 for utilities. I have emailed and they always brush me off and basically say it is what it is lol.. Is there anywhere I can make a complaint to the city and get this investigated??
I feel like a clown ,just so disappointed and sad with this situation. I work full time and come back to my apartment and don’t even feel at home because I’m getting scammed. Are any residents experiencing this or anybody that can give me some legal advice?? THANK YA!!
EDIT: I just moved out of my parents so I’m genuinely confused.. because I have had people tell me it’s allot and others not.
