Bias I am from Seattle. Lived in SF for 14 years.
San Francisco is known for fog, but when you are in the city, it’s really not that remarkable. There are some cool views of the fog from Marin and the East Bay, but when your in the city it’s just kind of this low lying cloud, overcast vibe. It moves pretty fast. I would honestly say that it is pretty weak fog, and it’s more just your average coastal marine layer.
Seattles fog, when it really fogs like last night, is dense, thick, and just kind of sits there and fills empty spaces. It’s considerable more remarkable than SF’s fog.
Just saying. Move over, Karl.
