Theft in Ballard QFC Parking Garage

Yesterday at 8:20 pm I was briefly parked in the QFC parking garage on 24th Ave. When going back to my car with my friend, I saw movement, and realized someone was robbing it.
My first instinct was to run and yell at him to get out, then he stood up and reached in his jacket, at which point my friend and I turned and ran, unsure if he was about to pull a gun/weapon.
I hit the car alarm from my keys and we hid behind a pillar as he ran off.
He jumped in a car with a blonde white woman and booked it. I got a video of them in what looks like a 2006-2010 white Jeep Commander with no plates and a back right window taped up with foil.

This has been reported to both SPD and QFC. If you see anything or have any tips, please report them to SPD. The case number is 26-177-563.

(Of course I don’t expect much to come from this, and I’m really just grateful it didn’t escalate further. But on the off chance someone sees this car, please call SPD, and don’t leave your car nearby. Thank yall for reading.)
