There should be signs on the Aurora Bridge alerting drivers that oversize vehicles will take up 2 lanes.

If you are a long time resident of Seattle, you will remember the tragic accident with the Ride the Ducks and the tour bus of young college students on the Aurora Bridge. After that the city collectively agreed that oversize vehicles can use 2 lanes (with their hazard lights on) while crossing, to allow extra space for oncoming traffic.

I was just on the bus and a car was honking and edging the bus into the the center lane, which then led to multiple cars following suit.

It’s just such a dangerous road. And I do understand that not everyone knows the “rule” of the bridge and I feel like we would all highly benefit from a sign.
