This is a longshot but… lost earring (near gasworks park)

Lost this pearl earring (well, the other one—this photo was staged to see what it would look like on the ground) near gasworks park/ wallingford area this past Sunday evening. I’ve retraced my steps twice to no avail, so I’m wondering if someone happened to stumble upon it already and tried to get it to a safe location? It was a gift from my late uncle and has a lot of sentimental value, so I’m still holding out hope for miraculously finding it (and that it wasn’t just eaten by a goose)
