To stop or not to stop at a school bus stop

Hey All,

I have been referencing to this WA school bus stop traffic rules. But have always preferred to stop in cases 3 and 4 even when am on the opposite direction lane. I know i can proceed with caution but I intend to err on side of safety when it comes to kids who don’t know what their next action would be.

In a few instances, I did get a few friendly and few irritated honks from my fellow drivers behind me. So, was wondering what your usual take is.

I know: Rather being nice, be predictable. But, kids are unpredictable hence the toil…
