To the person who took my bike , please, I am asking from my heart , bring it back. No questions asked.

To whoever took the bike(REI. Desert Sage color) from my home in Queen Anne last night:

Maybe times are hard for you, I understand. But I’m asking you, human to human, please bring it back. That bike is more than transportation to me. I’m a woman who grew up in the Middle East where girls weren’t allowed to ride or own bikes. It wasn’t considered appropriate. Now, for the first time in my life, in my 40s I finally bought my own bike. Literally a month ago. It meant freedom and a dream to me I did not have. I had just started learning. It holds a sentimental value. I’m not asking for punishment. I’m not asking for confrontation. I don’t care who you are or why you did it. I just want my bike back. If you can find it in your heart to return it,drop it anywhere near my house or even leave it anonymously somewhere safe,I will ask no questions. I’ll be grateful. Thank you
