To the woman with the dog on the E yesterday ❤️

(Please no dumping on my neighbors who ride the E line, this isn’t what this is about.)

I was on the southbound E around 4:25 p.m. at 85th & Aurora yesterday when someone had a dog barking aggressively, and the driver told the owner to get off. You had just gotten on a few stops before, and your dog was sitting calmly even though the other dog was clearly agitated, in addition to the other dog’s owner when they were told to get off the bus. You got off the bus, even though you and your dog was not the problem. This made it easier for the owner of the aggressive dog to also leave the bus, and we continued on our way after a significant delay.

This wasn’t your fault! I really wish I’d come to sit next to you, I’m sorry I didn’t. I hope the rest of your day went better, and I hope I see you and your dog on the bus again.
