Toms sports bars has a 4% “service fee”…….why?

I went there before a show for food and drinks….they say they are the biggest in Seattle with over 50 beers, over 130 screens and over 25 specialty cocktails….yet they need to add a 4% service charge oops a “fee” because of increasing operational costs? i paid for my $10 beer and left! i then realized why they had no prices on their menu and why the server kept pushing me to order food!!!!! why people are ok with this boggles my mind!
