Townhouse parcel land ownership rights

Hey all,

I’m thinking about going from an apartment to purchasing one of the new townhomes in the Ballard area.

I see on the KC parcel viewer that some townhomes are just different units on one single parcel of land (usually with present use labeled as SFH). Or they have the same address but units A,B,C,D. After doing some reading it seems like these are “condo-ized” and you don’t actually own any land? However, some other townhomes have individual parcels of land labeled as “Townhouse Plat”.

Am I right to assume that the townhomes with individual parcels of land contain land rights for the townhome?
