Please for the love of god if the bus/train is standing room only, FILL UP THE BACK. It help speeds things up and it won’t be as crowded and as hard to get off if everyone doesn’t stand by the entrance. If someone is blocking the path to more standing room, say “Excuse me!” As someone who took public transport for all 4 years of college and is now commuting to work, it’s not that hard to be aware of your surroundings and make room for your fellow riders!
I’m looking at you, Amazon workers.
Additionally, if you are on your way from/to the airport. PLEASE don’t leave your suitcase in middle of the bus if you can help it. The number of people I’ve seen do this on near empty buses and let people just trip all over their stuff is insane! Get off your phone and pay attention!!
