An update. Yesterday, a group e-biked from Seattle to Olympia to protest a nonsensical tax on ebikes. They testified today, and the House removed the tax on ebikes from current consideration. Thanks to the group of riders who brought attention to the silly tax, thanks to all of you who took the 15 seconds to write letters to your reps, and thanks to the Seattle Bike Blog for the reporting!
