After the last post about the stick library that I saw (but did not build) ( https://www.reddit.com/r/Seattle/s/Cpsyolp9Rn ) some people expressed concern that a dog going for one of the sticks could cut their mouths on the sharp metal corners of the brackets. I stopped by and covered the corners with duct tape (eight thin trips on top of each other, per corner, was enough to make it soft enough I couldn’t feel any sharpness afterwards). I left a note for the person who made it in case they have some other idea for a long-term solution. It sucks having a furry friend get hurt and hopefully this made it happen one less time! 🐾 Thank to everyone who pointed this out! submitted by /u/bennetthaselton |
