Utility budgets – what can we expect?

Just a reminder that there’s a Thursday, June 11, Community Meeting about Utility Budgets and Rates, virtual on Microsoft Teams, 6-7pm – Proposed utility budget and rate updates, Infrastructure and capital improvement projects, Financial planning and affordability considerations, and Customer assistance resources.

Also, the Environmental Services Commission will be considering changes to Utility Connection Charges at their next meeting on June 18th at 6:30pm.

I’ve posted my questions for the Commission at https://newbellevue.com/?p=1764 – if you’d like to see some of the things I think are at stake here. I want to ensure that our utility costs don’t go up in the next few years because we’ve rushed decisions like these.
