What bar should I go to when he dies?

I’m 24, never really been to a proper bar. I’ve also never done a shot. Which bar will 1. Be the life of the night when he dies, and 2. Be the most comfortable for someone who likes to people watch when people are celebrating? I figured that will be a good reason for a new experience, and I will do exactly 1 shot, ask for a mojito, then focus on everyone else.
