This has been bothering me for awhile, looking for any help. We share an alleyway with a few houses, and the one directly across from us is absurdly loud all the time.
During the day, he’s working on his multiple old crappy cars without a muffler and just revvs the engine while he’s working on them. Parks them all over the public street while doing it.
His dogs are constantly off leash, which leads him to yelling “HEY, GET BACK HERE” all hours of the day and night.
Not to mention the loud arguments with his girlfriend calling each other all kinds of names.
I’ve talked to him myself now twice now (at 1AM) asking to keep it down, and he seems a bit off but has said “sorry”.
I called the police non emergency number once and they just closed the case without doing anything. Probably not important enough to get police attention these days. If I call the cops again and they show up, I feel like he would suspect it was me that called and I’m not looking to have a somewhat unstable enemy nearby.
What can I do? I’m not able to work during the day or sleep at night cause of this guy and it’s constant.
