Hi, I live in south Seattle and I’m not sure how to go about handling a situation involving a mentally ill unhoused person who is currently occupying part of the sidewalk and street near my house.
This person is clearly experiencing a crisis. He walks up and down the street swinging a small boat anchor attached to a chain, screams all night, hits cars parked on the street with steel pipes and harasses children. He does drugs out in the open, is littering the whole street, and has people coming to and from his tent all night and day. 911 has been called but never responds.
I’m worried he’s going to hurt someone. Does anyone know if there is some other avenue I can explore to solve this?
