Why are all your smaller lakes inaccessible (private)

Seriously, angle lake, arrow lake, mirror lake, lake burien, haller lake, bitter lake, lake serene, Martha lake, silver lake, phantom lake, lake boren, lake desire etc. etc.

From burien, to West Seattle up to lynwood, to Bothell, back down to Kirkland, Bellevue to Renton. Almost 90 percent of your smaller lakes are all privatized with built up homes and inaccessible. At most maybe, you might have a dock path if you’re lucky but often that is closed to residents too.

I’ve lived in the Midwest (Minnesota), east coast (Jersey and Pittsburgh), and Portland, and ive never seen quite such terrible urban planning allowed like I have in Seattle.

Mostly big rambler homes (many falling apart) without sidewalks taking up the lake space.

How do this come to be, what gives?
