Why are things grown in WA so expensive

Before you tell me go to farmer’s market I know.

But seriously, I understand that Safeway is corporation and I understand they are all so hungry for feeding off the TACO on off again supposed tariffs.

But damn near $9 for lb of cherries, or if rainier even more. They only come from one place.

Apples, grapes, corn even for god sake. Shit in season here has the price as if we are exporting from FiGi.

This whole shit show is such a rip off
