In honor of Tom Robbins’ recent passing, I thought I’d share his essay from the early 90s, “Why I Live in Northwestern Washington.” The web link that used to exist has disappeared, so I scanned it from a compilation book I own.
I never got into his books, but find this is a delightful and memorable take on the climate of our region. Enjoy!
