Serious question for the local skiers/riders: Why do people here insist on raising the safety bar so early?
I’ve had multiple awkward interactions at Stevens Pass lately regarding the safety bar because people want to flip open the bar 40-50 meters before the station. In BC, that’s a huge no-no. It’s dangerous, saves zero time.
Am I just “too Canadian” about safety?
