I’ve recently moved back to the Greater Seattle Area after living in Bellingham and graduating this past summer from
college and I love it down here. I love the city life. I love the culture. I love the people. But I struggle to find areas in which I fit in, in which I don’t feel like I have to spend money to exist in. I’m a mid 20s female I love DND and MTG and just hanging out. I recently finished the first draft of my novel and I’m always looking for a new craft or hobby and I know supposedly Seattle is so rich with people exactly like me!! Not even supposedly. I know they are but it seems hard to get in with a consistent group. And I know I can go to the likes of Mox or Zulus and enjoy myself there but again the money aspect.
My boyfriend is struggling with this issue as well with similar hobbies. He’s planning on getting back into rock climbing and joining a gym in the new year and going on some group climbs which will be great for him. But honestly guys… how do we meet and make consistent friends? Any suggestions?
