I’ve had to go to Vancouver, BC, a lot for work and have appreciated how much foot traffic there is around downtown, especially compared to Seattle. Now I’m in line at Ludi’s and amazed at how long it is. In a sane city I feel like there’d be other storefront options close by/within line-of-sight where competitors could open up and draw in folks who don’t want to wait, but around here it’s a few bars and a bunch of hotels and apartments. Why aren’t there more storefronts downtown? submitted by /u/CyberWulf |
