My family had a week-long, action-packed trip planned to the Olympic peninsula this weekend. Unfortunately I ended up in the hospital and had two surgeries and had to cancel the trip. We considered pushing the trip back a few weeks, but of course now everything is booked up, and I just don’t think I’d have the energy to really explore, home, visit beaches, etc.
I’m now looking for an alternative, shorter trip that is naturey, tranquil, quiet and doesn’t involve hiking or a lot of physical activity while I’m recovering. Something with hot springs or soaking pools, somewhere I could lounge outside and read a good book and just soak in the nature vibes. We’re not into camping. I’d be ok with anywhere in Washington, Oregon or possibly Canada. Please help me find this magical place!
