I noticed this Vespa a few nights ago while on my walk on the interurban trail and snapped a pic. The “owner” is in a tent with other stolen items from our neighborhood. I verified it was stolen with PNW Stolen Cars Facebook group and later with SPD around midnight when I spotted it hidden in the same unoccupied tent. (Case# 25-236517 Reported stolen 8/15) I came back this afternoon and it was still there, but now the tent was occupied x4. I tried the police again. Same thing. Knowing how fast they move stolen items, I put together a few neighbors and asked them politely in Spanish to help me remove the stolen Vespa from the tent. They were happy to bring it out and into the street. It’s now in my garage if anyone can help me get it to the owner. The police have been notified of the new location, but I have a feeling it will be here for a while and I clearly don’t have the room for it. submitted by /u/badandy80 |
