I got home from work today and my apartment door was wide open. I had received an email a couple days ago from the property manager that they would be testing the fire alarms and the testing company would need access to the apartments but the manager would be on site. They mentioned the testing would begin at 9am and when I got home around 5pm no one was around so my apartment door was potentially left completely wide open for a long time (not just unlocked but completely open) so anyone could have walked in and taken anything. I called and texted the property manager with no response. With my previous experience with them I would not be surprised if I don’t get a response. Should I wait another day to see if I hear back from the management company? Should I attempt to reach the owners of the LLC that owns the apartment building? This was really unsettling and i am just wondering what my options are to let the right people know about issue
