A quick update to all the beautiful souls that helped me yesterday.
Thanks to some internet sleuthing, I was able to track down the car and get my plates back. Huge weight off my shoulders. Appreciate all the advice and support—it really helped.
Leaving this up as a heads-up for anyone shopping used cars: keep an eye out, if you’re looking at a Ford Fusion, definitely have a mechanic check it out first. This particular car has some serious issues that need to be disclosed, so I’m posting the VIN and a few pics so the next buyer knows what they’re getting into.
Took my original post down since it started attracting the wrong kind of attention—that was never the goal. Just want the next owner to have the full story and prevent someone from being scammed out of $8500.
