Romantic getaway

I’m a combat veteran, and I lost my leg in Afghanistan in 2011. My wife and I have been together since 2009, and we got married on October 29, 2013. Since then, we’ve faced many challenges, but we’ve always overcome them. We have a daughter who is 4 years old and struggles with us making time together because I am a full-time student. However, the first break I’ve had in a long time, we couldn’t find time to do something special, so I want to plan something for our anniversary. Even though I have class that week and it’s also Halloween, I’m thinking of booking a room for a night during the weekend of October 25th or November 1st. I’d love to do something like a hot tub in the snowy mountains, and maybe we could go fishing in the morning before heading back to our busy lives. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m just hoping to find a location that will be a nice romantic escape. I’ll find someone to watch over our daughter overnight, and I’ll ensure my schoolwork is done prior. I did mention fishing, which she does enjoy. I, however, prefer catching, but this is really about her. Also, some of her other interests include geodes, and I know there are a variety of options out here.
